An EVC support network for teaching video production

Events

Youth Powered Video is a social network

WELCOME!

Welcome to the Youth Powered Video online community! This is a new space for educators using the Youth Powered Video curriculum in their work with youth. It is a platform to share successes, exchange ideas, and get advice from colleagues as well as EVC media educators as you implement your projects. It is also a space to post your students' video work- whether in the rough cut stage for feedback or to celebrate final work.

THE LATEST.

As part of EVC's Professional Development Coaching Program, students in several schools are creating Documentary Shorts, Public Service Announcements and Community Inquiry Projects. As projects are completed, we will post them here. Please be sure to check out their videos!!

Exciting ways to utilize our network this fall/winter:

1) Get Festival and Workshop Information
Stayed tuned to the forum to learn about opportunities to submit student work to festivals, as well as other screenings and events for students. There is also info about opportunities for teachers- such as conferences, funding opportunities, and trainings.

2) Post Cool Stuff
We want to hear from you. Please share your student work, your events, your questions and your perspectives with the YPV community!

(If you'd like to be notified when a new discussion is on the table, simply click the "Notify Me" tab at the bottom of the "Forum" Page. You can also elect to only follow specific discussions at the bottom of each discussion page).
